This kit is designed to help prevent damage to your aluminum casing from the frequent removal of the HPFP for cam follower checks/changes.
 
The studs stay in place, you can then slide the pump on and off.
 
The aerotight nuts are reusuable time and time again! They're not your normal nylock!
 
So yes, you may have to undo the banjo bolt or remove the rubber pipe, but thats a minimum amount of time and a small price to pay if the soft casing gives way.. new casings RRP at ð668!
 
The kit contains:
3 x studs
3 x aerotight nuts
1 x bolt
1 x long nut
1 x thread lock
 
Fitting guidance: Only the cam casing end of the studs needs the application of threadlock. We've provided medium strength, so if at any point you would like to remove the studs, this is easily done.
The 10mm bolt + long nut are to be combined and then that used to tighten up the studs. (10mm long socket). Tighten studs with fingers initially, to avoid cross threading.
